Kilmovee Meals on Wheels

Kilmovee Community Centre has been providing Meals on Wheels in the area since 2009, as there was a need for such a service in the area. Between 2009 and early 2022 dinners were provided by Durkin’s Bar & Restaurant Ballaghaderreen and then Brickens Meals on Wheels. Community Centre staff would then collect and deliver the meals.

Our own Meals on Wheels was established in April of 2022, when we started preparing our own meals in house. The service delivers hot, nutritious meals to older people and those in need throughout the area.

In the last year we have delivered over 5000 meals.

The meals are freshly prepared in our fully HSE compliant kitchen. Our ingredients are sourced from local suppliers and our community tunnel. Meals are delivered Monday – Friday. We supply different meals each day along with a complimentary dessert.Every meal is delivered straight to your door.
